Itanagar: Takali and Tadap Attend two-day BKS National Conference

Bhartiya Kisan Sangh State unit president Takali Tamuk and General Secretary Ngurang Tadap attended two-day national farmer sammelan where they highlighted various issues of Arunachal’s farmers.

Secretary Ngurang Tadap expressed that the main objective of the conference was to discuss various issues confronting the farmer's community of the country such as farm loan waiver, farmer suicide, marketing and farm produce storage, along with several other issues.

Representatives from other northeastern states such as Manipur and Assam also attended the meeting. Tadap highlighted various issues of the farmers of the state that includes farm loan waiver, wholesale markets, the market price of commodities and non-availability of warehouses in the state.


He said that more than 800 farmers from the state are registered with the organization. And hope that the BJP govt at the state and centre would help in resolving farmer’s problems and issues at the earliest.
